Context

Oyster was a digital financial platform built for freelancers, startups, and SMBs in Mexico. The product combined onboarding, payments, account management, and credit workflows across web and mobile. In a high-trust fintech domain, the user experience needed to be clear, reliable, and operationally correct.

My Role

I worked as a senior engineer and lead developer for the Credit Frontend team, helping drive delivery across both web and mobile products.

My contributions included:

  • leading customer-facing implementation for mobile and web experiences
  • shaping frontend delivery plans and technical priorities with product teams
  • partnering with design to ship polished, user-centered financial workflows
  • collaborating closely with backend teams for reliable API integration
  • improving engineering quality through code reviews, mentoring, and execution standards
